HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADALBERTUS!!!


Yeah, I officially took a break from drawing OC's, like a four pictures ago, and I'm still doing it
But the occasion is special, because it's birthday of someone who is my friend not only in internet, but also in the real life, and we could meet at several occasions privately, and on ponymeets in our town.

And here is a gift from me, to You. Your Amber Drop

I have to admit, I had a big problem not with a picture itself, but with the idea for it. Granted, I had a back-story for her, which is a hell more, than I usually have drawing someones OC, but in that back-story there were only two places that caught my attention as something to make a drawing from.

The first one was her, being teased in school... but that was already done by *MoonlightFL, and got kinda overused lately. The second was her being raised in a wealthy family, where she had more contact with her servants, than her own parents... but she was a filly then, and I wanted to draw her, as she is now

So I read her description twice, and trice, and then I run into two facts, that surprisingly got together with one-another very well for me. First of all: She has a stage-fright, and don't like performing, or drawing attention. Second of all: her talent is to read others intentions, which she can't really control, resulting in her using her knowledge to her advantage, even if she's doing it subconsciously. And then it hit me, that for all deceptions, and lies, other ponies may try to put on her... she is the one, that always wears a real mask. Having too much knowledge about others forces her to manipulate, and act almost all the time, which is really sad, when You think about it. No wonder she don't like acting and being judged any more. And this was enough for me to draw this one ^_^

Hmmm... I get really off track with this...
